2010 coming to an end...

As 2010 comes to end, our new life here in Virginia is just beginning!!! I haven't posted a blog in a long time, but I am going to TRY to stay on top of it from now on...well when I have interesting things to post. Anywho, we have now made the move to Virginia. We rented a temporary condo on the beach, or bay until we decide whether we are going to rent or buy a home up here and which area we want to live in. It has def. been an adjustment. We left Macie in Bluefield with Jeremy's mom until we move into our permanent place because we can't have dogs. All of our belongings are in storage until further notice and it is freezing here to say the least. After about a month and a half of being here I have finally realized that I am going to be ok and I will eventually grow to like it here. I really miss my family and friends!

As of now, we are preparing for Jeremy to check into the USS Harry Truman. The ship just returned from a 7 month deployment and now he will start his journey on the boat. I am also currently looking for a contemporary Christian Church for us to join! If you have any recommendations for this area let me know.

Mason is growing so much and ready to meet some new friends. He loves watching it snow when he is inside a warm car or house. He points and says something (haven't figured out exactly what it is he is saying). He is so cute and sweet!

Also....the lil bean in my belly is growing away. For the past few weeks I have been feeling little flutters and I am pretty sure it is the baby. I have my next ob appt. Jan. 3rd, 2011 and the following appt. we will find out the sex. I am SO excited! I am REALLY hoping for a girl...but most importantly a healthy baby. We have picked out a boy and a girl name, but I am not revealing what they are just yet. I love both names, so I will be excited either way!

Our next endeavor is finding where we are going to be living permanently so that I can make the house a home while we are here and start preparing the nursery for the precious bundle of joy! I think I have found one of my favorite things to do is to decorate and make a house a home. Not really being able to do that in the place we are in has REALLY made me realize that. I know that most girls do like doing that...but I REALLY REALLY like to do it. I am so ready to fill a bit more settled that I do right now! Until then I will make do!

Mason is going to have a wonderful Christmas, he has been spoiled rotten by EVERYONE! What a lucky lil feller he is! I can't wait to see his face Christmas morning!

Well, I could write all day but I think I will leave it at this. I will keep you updated on the house hunting and on the lil bean growing in my belly.

Merry Christmas!

Xoxo,
Ashley, Jeremy & Mason
